The purpose of internet.. just posting or viewing the data or content is no more with the introduction of Mashups !!!!
Mash up originally started from music...Musical mashup is a remix of two or more songs and produce a new song....
Similarly, a webmash up is remix of two or more internet based applications or data or people.Typical example of it is Facebook.
This is the easy way of introducing Mashup.
